Eric D. Shapiro - CEO/President
The Lexvest Group is led by Eric D. Shapiro. Shapiro has acquired and or developed both residential and commercial real estate including numerous multi-family apartments and condo conversion projects throughout Massachusetts, as well as various commercial and mixed use projects. In 2006, Shapiro co-founded Lexvest Partners LLC, which later evolved into The Lexvest Group LLC, a private equity real estate investment company that focuses on investing in third party small to midsized ($1-$10M) and developing value added and ground up development projects.

Shapiro received his undergraduate degree in 1986 from Boston University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and his Master's degree in 1999 from Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts where he earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration, Cum Laude. Shapiro has served in various civic and corporate roles including North Central Mass Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Workers Credit Union Board of Directors, BU CGS Alumni Board of Directors, Dale Carnegie, TA, Lexington Center Committee, Freedoms Ways Advisory Committee, and Babson College Mentoring Program. Shapiro has received numerous awards in recognition of his work on various projects or contributions to the communities in which he works and lives including; Freedoms Way Crystal Eagle Award, 2010 Department of Environmental Protection Agency Merit Award, 2012 Roy L. Jeannotte award for Outstanding Company/Organization, 2010 Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce Directors Award, 2009 North Central Mass Chamber of Commerce Achievement Award.

Matthew Blackham - CFO-Advisor
Matt Blackham joined Tambone Investment Group in 2004 as Project Analyst. In this capacity, Matt coordinates project finances, evaluates trends in the financial performance of projects, as well as analyzes new projects. He coordinates with Tambone's financial partners, property owners, consultants and contractors to ensure the constant monitoring of project finances. Matt is also responsible for coordinating and overseeing a large industrial fund that will focus on acquiring and adding value to industrial based properties in the Greater Boston Area. He has experience in commercial, industrial as well as residential real estate developments projects.

Matt is a graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and comes from a real estate family lineage.

Thomas W. Goodwin - Advisor
Tom has over 25 years of experience in public accounting and real estate, including several years as a partner with the “Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group”, the real estate arm of Ernst & Young LLP, a “Big Four” public accounting firm. Prior to co-founding McNally & Goodwin LLP, Tom was a Senior Vice-President at Equis Financial Group, where he was responsible for all tax related matters, financial reporting and financing for various projects as well as acquisition and divestiture planning and implementation for the entire organization. During his public accounting career, which included a period as Senior Tax Manager at Arthur Andersen, he has provided service, directly or indirectly, or participated in industry groups to many of the major real estate organizations in New England.

In addition to his experience in public accounting, Tom spent several years at Cabot, Cabot and Forbes, when it was a $2 billion privately owned real estate developer. Tom supervised a staff of 7 people, delivering tax services to the 125+ legal entities in the organization, as well as having responsibility for Human Resources, Payroll and Risk Management.

Tom graduated from Suffolk University in Boston with a BS in Accounting and received his MS from Bentley College. He is a CPA in Massachusetts, and a member of the Mass. Society of CPA’s, the AICPA, and the Real Estate Finance Association (REFA). Over the years, Tom has served on several committees, including the Real Estate Committee of the Mass. Society of CPA’s, the Membership Committee of REFA, and Co-Chairman of the Education Committee (and member of the Executive Board) of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP). He has also spoken on real estate and income tax matters to various real estate and business groups.
